Analysis of print based and moving image advertisement. This essay will discuss the differences between a charity print based advert and a brand moving image advertisement. This print based advertising campaign a charity o rganisation called Missing People , it uses taglines to engage their audience for example "help bring missing children home" engages their readers by asking them to "help" this allows the charity to involve their audience in the campaign . The print based campaign establishes its genre by using warm colours to link to the purpose as it is talking about bringing missing children home for Christmas, therefore the warm colours  are inviting the missing children home, also the purpose of is to invite the audience  to help. On the poster it says "every five minutes, a child goes missing… its heart breaking for their family" .this is where they use emotive and persuasive language to make their audience feel bad if they don’t help....

How our advertising campaign looks to inform,persuade and sell. This essay will discuss how our advertising campaign will inform ,persuade and sell to our target audience of middle class teenagers from all ethnicities. Our campaign looks to inform by including facts, we want to do this to shock our audience by the fact the amount of girls who have little confidence due to trying to be what they see online,tv and in magazines. The main fact that we will use will be “having clear and healthy skin was important to 81% of young girls. We believe this fact goes well with our campaign as it shows that a large amount of girls are affected by this problem and it shows how important it is to them. These images for our campaign Selena Gomez, we came up with the idea of how she felt wearing make and how she felt when she was confident with her skin. We used the opacity tool to put two images together , this allowed us to show a contrast in her emotions as she was happier without make up and with how the product changed her skin. Additionally the images are bright to connote to freshness and happiness, also it links to our product as it promotes healthy fresh skin that will make you confident and happy. The body language of the model while she is wearing make-up is tense this is to highlight the fact that she doesn’t feel comfortable because she’s hiding her imperfections underneath her makeup. On the other hand, the image that she doesn’t have make up on presents her  as happy and care free, this is to portray an idea that she is happier due to the product giving her confidence in her own skin. How do music artist explore their star persona in music videos? This essay will discuss how Katy Perry’s star persona has been represented in Roar and Swish swish, it will include uses of camera shots and connotations of the narrative, which will also link to star persona. Firstly, the music video for Roar represents her star persona as feminine, for example, the use of stereotypes that shows she’s scared of spiders links her with a feminine persona as it is a well know stereotype, therefore people can easily associate her with it. The trailer shows the group of teenage girls going shopping ,this connotes to how they care about how they look, this follows the stereotypes of younger people because it shows them changing there appearance with clothes to fit in and be popular. Additionally the Mean Girls trailer shows boys and girls having an obsession with each other, we see a key focus on there feelings with each other and there sexual activity with them.
